What is the 8th of March? It’s spring, sunshine, tulips, your mother’s smile, and the anticipation of love and happiness. But it’s also the rush, endless congratulations, queues in shops, flowers, and the frantic search for gifts. Every year, this very day brings a global frenzy in which everything revolves around women. Ordinary people find themselves in extraordinary situations, while unexpected encounters completely transform their lives.

• Filming took place across four cities: Moscow, St Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, and Novorossiysk.
• Each anthology story had its own creative team, making every episode a standalone mini-project. Three storylines were produced simultaneously.
  
• One of the film’s stories was inspired by a real person — a young girl named Masha, whose energy and love of life became the foundation for the character of Stasya.
• The voice of the ever-present narrator was provided by Sergey Bezrukov.
