This short film draws attention to the dismal statistics — on average, a woman makes about 7 attempts to leave an abusive relationship before leaving it for good  CNN. Making this public is a big step towards solving the problem. The creators hope that by recognizing themselves, a friend, or sister in the main character of the video, more women will find the strength to seek professional help.
